Pendle Tow Bar racks are designed to be a simple and dependable tow bar mounted rack. With our years of experience in design and manufacturing we have created a tried and tested bike rack that often outlives the car it's attached to.
- Two 'L' shaped arms easily fit into the tow bar mounting and carry the bikes by their frames.
- Fits a very wide range of frame shapes and types. Car friendly – sits on the tow ball and doesn't touch the car's paintwork.
- Bikes are strapped together using the supplied webbing straps and secured to the rack.
- Hang on Racks can carry most fat bikes and are available with different offsets to clear the rear of Discovery’s and Land Rover’s Spare Wheels. See our measuring guide for further information.

Make sure the nose weight of your tow bar is enough to support the combined weight of our bikes and the rack.
These racks can't be used whilst towing a trailer or caravan.
3 (and 4) Bike Arms: They can carry up to a maximum of 3 (or 4) bikes although 2 (or 3) bikes may be the maximum for bikes with wider tyres, handlebars, or pedals. If you need to carry specifically 3 (or 4) bikes or bikes with complex frame shapes, then we suggest looking at our wheel support racks.
Retractable Tow Bars: If using with a retractable swan neck tow bar, you may not be able to retract and stow the tow ball with the 'On the Ball' mounting block fitted.
Note on use with motorhomes – We do not recommend using ‘On the Ball’ mounting racks with motorhomes. We recommend checking with the manufacturer of the tow bar as to the suitability for use with a ‘Behind the Ball’ bike rack.

Will fit: Swan neck, detachable and Mounting standard 2 bolt flange tow bars.
A universal mount that fits around the tow ball and consists of two parts which are bolted securely together – the first part contains the sockets which the bike rack arms fit into and the second part is a back plate so the two components sandwich around the tow ball. Both parts are moulded inside to the shape of a tow ball to give a perfectly sturdy, secure fit. Due to the way this fits around the ball you will be unable to tow when the mounting is in place.

Behind-the-ball Mounting
Will fit: Standard 2 bolt flange tow bars only.
A standard mount that fits securely between the tow ball and towing bracket of standard 2 bolt flange tow bars. Ideal for people wanting to tow while carrying their bikes. Whether you are going for a quick blast around a trail centre or setting off on an epic mountain tour you want a dependable rack that's simple to use.
- Fits almost any vehicle with a tow bar and almost any bike. The bike is held in place by both tyres and leans against a vertical support, giving a very solid and stable fitting. Straps secure the bike to the rack at these 3 points.
- No fiddly bike clamps that could damage the paintwork or don't fit your bike. Modular design makes it easy to strip down to component parts or leave partially assembled while not in use.
- Adjusts for wheelbase, frame shape and bike widths, standard D loops are suitable for 26", 29" and Road Wheels. Wider D Loops available on request for up to 3" tyres, standard fittings work with up to 2.25" tyres. Children’s attachments are also available.
- Our Wheel Supports can be adapted to clear the spare wheels on vehicles. Please contact us to enquire further.

Pendle Tow Bar racks are designed to be a simple and dependable tow bar mounted rack. This is a special version that mounts the bikes 380 mm (15 inches) higher to clear the drawbar of a caravan or trailer.
Our unique Higher Tow Bar offers all the benefits a robust, all-steel tow bar without limiting trailers and caravans. The unique design and high-quality finish keep your bike held tight, even at an elevated position and allows you to maintain visibility without losing valuable bike-carrying space.
This awesome adventure kit is also available in Discovery models to fit flatback vehicles such as Land Rovers and other 4x4s.

IMPORTANT: Whilst towing we usually recommend carrying 2 bikes to maintain clearance to the body of your caravan during tight turns.
Check your vehicles nose weight – the combined weight of the rack and bikes must not exceed this. If towing this must be added to the trailer nose weight too.
4 Bike Arms: The arms have 425mm of space for hanging the bikes by their frames. They can carry a maximum of 4 bikes although 3 bikes may be the maximum for bikes with wider tyres, handlebars, or pedals.
