The Pendle Heavy Duty Wheel Support Rack incorporates all the features of the normal wheel support rack, and can take heavier bikes such as downhill and electric bikes.
It will fit almost every vehicle with a tow bar fitted. The only limit is your vehicle/towbar noseweight, the combined weight of rack and bikes must not exceed this, the rack weighs 20kg. The bicycle wheels are supported by D-loops attached to the main frame of the rack and each bike is held separately in its own support. Individual vertical arms separate the bicycles from each other in order to ensure non-contact between bikes during transit. 75mm (3 inch) D Loops are fitted as standard. Racks can take up to 25kg per bike.
BIKES CAN BE MOUNTED WITH NO FUSS AND IN NO TIME AT ALL.
You cannot tow with this particular rack because of its platform style design.
Supplied with the Tow Ball Mounting Block, this generally designed for swan neck tow bars as the mounting block clamps around the tow ball, though it can also be fitted onto the tow ball of standard 2 bolt flange type tow bars.
The Wheel Support Rack is supplied with a lighting unit.
