The Pendle Standard Tandem Rack is extremely popular amongst Tandem enthusiasts and will carry one tandem bike in an upright position. In order to fit the rack you will need crossbars fitted to your vehicle. The bike wheels are supported along the base of the rack by two wheel holders and the frame is supported in an upright position by brackets on two vertical arms.

Straps secure the bike in place and are supplied with the rack. The wheels are strapped into the wheel holders and the tandem frame is strapped to the vertical arms. The Standard Tandem Rack is now available with an adjustable horizontal main frame to accomodate different wheel bases and adjustable vertical support poles to accomodate different frame shapes.

We recommend that the tandem placed on the rack weighs no more than 25 kg.

The Standard Tandem Rack is designed to fit standard square roof bars. If your vehicle is fitted with Aero bars please contact us by phone or email to determine the correct adaptor to fit them. The rack is adaptable to fit any roofbar spacing. (Image top left shows rack fitted to Aero Bars)
