I can't add products to my shopping cart?
If you are having trouble adding products to your basket please check the following.
- Make sure you have created an account. If you haven't, create it by clicking on 'New Registration' at the bottom of the customer login window. The customer login window can be opened by clicking on 'Customer Login' below the Pendle logo at the top left of our home page.
- Make sure that you have logged in. If you are logged in it will say 'Welcome [your name]' below the Pendle logo at the top left of our home page.
- Then try to add the product to the cart. You must do this after logging in.
- If it does not appear in the cart please let us know. We can take your order by phone and use your feedback to improve our site and find any compatability issues.
How do I find out what my tow bars noseweight is?
On most vehicles registered from 1st August 1998 (S Reg) onwards there should be an identification plate on or near the towbar fixings. This will give you the weights you require.
For vehicles registered prior to this your vehicle hand book would have this information or you could contact your local towbar fitter.
I have an old rack that I purchased some years ago, can I still buy spare parts?
Yes you can. Please contact us by phone or email and we will advise you of price and availability. We can usually supply most parts no matter how large or small.
Can I purchase another mounting block for a second vehicle?
Yes providing it is the same type of tow bar.
I have a swanneck/detachable tow bar, can i still tow whilst using one of your tow bar carriers?
No
My car isn't listed on the fitting guide, will any racks fit?
If you can't see your car on the fitting guide or are unsure about any aspect of fitting a rack to your particular vehicle please contact us by phone or email by clicking the "Contact Us" tab at the top of the page. We will do our best to help you.
Are Pendle racks made in the UK?
Yes. All our racks are designed, manufactured and packed at our factory in Nelson, Lancashire. Most of the components and raw materials that are outsourced come from UK suppliers too.

What are your office hours?
We are open for enquiries from 9am until 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am until 2pm on Fridays. Outside hours you may leave an answerphone message or email and we will try to get back to you ASAP.
